Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM-4:00PM with opportunities to work from home 1 day a month.

International Support Coordinator Responsibilities
Welcoming and Orientation of International Staff
Composes communication with international staff prior to arrival re: all logistics of itinerary, transportation.
Participates in general orientation on date of hire for each group of international staff and assist with preparations.
In close collaboration with the Professional Development department, and under the supervision of the Senior HR Specialist, develops and implements 1 to 2 additional training day(s) specific to necessary orientation for international staff to learn about cultural topics including but not limited to: professional workplace expectations, U.S. cultural norms, local international food markets, places of worship for different religious affiliations, area leisure/public parks, etc.
Implements and attend meetings with each new international staff during initial 90-day period.
Works with the Senior HR Specialist and in close collaboration with the Asst. Director of Facilities to arrange NECC housing assignment w/ proper furnishings.
Assists the Senior HR Specialist with management of first level housing concerns and issues along with welcome material for new staff arrivals.
Implements quarterly housing inspections of all international staff houses and apartments to insure cleanliness and general upkeep of good conditions.
Ongoing and General Responsibilities
Develops and oversees mentorship system to assign each international staff to a current NECC staff.
Implements all safety and emergency procedures.
Ability to drive and operate a vehicle for commuting to and from NECC staff housing and the central school building, as well as community locations for staff transport.
- Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of administrative or coordinator related experience.
Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills as well as customer service skills.
Ability to carry out written and verbal instructions; ability to read/hear and comprehend correspondence over email, in person and over Zoom or Microsoft Teams meetings.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to employees and team members.
Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to deal with emotional or agitated employees in a professional manner; flexible demeanor a must.
